Beth Boney Jenkins Receives Promotion at the North Carolina Community Foundation
Beth Boney Jenkins has been named Vice President, Affiliate Services at the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF). In this role, she will provide leadership and direction for the Foundation’s work throughout the state with 59 affiliated county community foundations.
Jenkins will also manage the statewide regional staff, dividing her time among the Raleigh headquarters, regional offices and Wilmington.
Jenkins brings strong leadership, tremendous expertise and almost 10 years of experience at the North Carolina Community Foundation to this critical position. Her new role is designed to increase efficiencies and direct communication with NCCF fund holders and affiliates. Prior to her promotion, Jenkins was Senior Associate at the Foundation. In that capacity, she oversaw the work of twenty-five affiliated county foundations, some of which she originated with the help of founding board members.
Jenkins worked in government and in the non-profit sector for more than 25 years, serving as Executive Director and Board Chair of various organizations. She holds a B.A. from Agnes Scott
College, a Master of Public Administration from N.C. State University, and she attended Duke University’s Master’s Degree program in English Literature.
