Carrie Gray Receives Promotion at the North Carolina Community Foundation
Carrie Gray has been named Director of Donor Engagement at the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF.) In this newly created position, Gray will expand donor and civic engagement at the Foundation by enhancing donor relations; community grant making and philanthropic services. Based in Raleigh, Gray will also work with the NCCF’s 59 affiliated community foundations across the state to strengthen the link between donors and the non-profit community.
Prior to her promotion, Gray oversaw NCCF programs that encourage philanthropy and collective giving among women and youth. One of these, the statewide Women’s Fund, is a permanent endowment with the North Carolina Community Foundation dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in North Carolina. Its focus is on health, leadership and education. Gray will continue the Foundation’s work in this area and its efforts to fully engage other philanthropic giving groups throughout the state.
A graduate of Indiana University, Gray brings strong leadership, tremendous expertise and more than 17 years experience in nonprofit development, resource development and program management to her new role.
