Coming in 2008-09 will be two special events to raise funds to establish an Albemarle Disaster Relief Fund for the 11 counties in Northeast North Carolina. The first event will be jointly planned with the Currituck-Dare Affiliate to be held on October 4, 2008, called Coastival Harvest Fest, and held at the Weeping Radish Farm and Brewery in Currituck County.
A special fun-filled Mardi Gras dinner/dance will be the second event in February, 2009. More details will follow.
